Jenn Got Run Over By a Reindeer

Monday, January 09, 2006

So, the holidays were great. Perhaps the best ever. The whole family was there, and there was lots of good times, good food, and lots of relaxing.

As for the annual Christmas booty, this year was a very good haul indeed. I now have a near fully equiped kitchen, complete with an ice crushing blending, and a full set of new bakeware. I also got a new set of 400 thread count sheets, which entirely eliminates the need for sex, since I have an orgasm nearly every time I crawl between the covers.

And if you didn't think I was old beyond my years yet, I also received a RRSP from my parents. And I couldn't be happier.

To make up for all the domestic gifts, I did lots of post-Christmas shopping, with many new clothes and assorted sex toys. Hello, new favorite toy. That's not exactly it, but you get the idea. Hot damn, this thing in fantastic. It can be a bit too much at times, but it's definitely a good thing, to be brought out when efficiency is important. But, I highly recommend it. Or something like it.

So, any resolutions? Nah. Well, there is perhaps one thing I need to do - that I know I can do - that I noticed before Christmas. I need to eat slower. I seem to always be in a rush when I eat, and it's irritating.

Oh, breaking news. Mr. Wonderful/Unemployed just got a job interview. In this city. Could it be? Perhaps we can move out of the stinky bachelor apartment?

Okay, best not to get one's hopes up so soon, but please cross your fingers/toes, etc, etc.

I have to say, there was a lot of clicking "yes I am 18" and copying and pasting involved to get to the new toy link. It does look fun though.

all crossable appendages are crossed for you and MW!

Hi Jenn,
thanks for the message about Katimavik. I was thinking, if your boyfriend wants to write something about Katimavik, I would be more than happy to make him a team member of the site.

Thanks for the offer, but I think he just wants to put it all behind him at this point. :)
